I accompanied my sister to her doctors appointment where she had blood drawn. When we left it was lunch time. We decided to go to the Olive Garden. We went in and because it was lunch we had to wait for our table to be prepared (only 5 minuets).
Once we were at our table the waiter, David, came over to take our drink order. He was polite, friendly, courteous, and patient. We both ordered iced tea. Next we ordered the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer. For lunch she had the baked ziti. I however, could not decide what I wanted, it all looked so good. So I asked the waiter to have the cook to whip me up one of his creations. Boy did I make the right decision. What I got was definitely the special of the day. It was a cheese type ravioli, with a cream sauce and topped with a lot of shrimp. This was served with a salad.
We finished our meal off with tiramisu for me and raspberry cheesecake for my sister. There was more than enough food served on our plates. We brought the leftovers home and my husband ate them. He also thought it was some of the most wonderful food he has eaten.
If you want good food and a great dining experience I would definitely go to the Olive Garden. Just be sure to bring your appetite.
