O'Charley's

This past weekend, my husband and I met some friends at O’Charleys for dinner. We have always had good food from O’Charley’s, however, the wait staff had left something to be desired. 

Not so this time. Of course the food was excellent. I had grilled chicken and steak combo with rice and broccoli . Added to this a bowl of potato soup. My chicken, rice and broccoli came out but no steak. The waitress immediately went to check on it. She came back out and told me she wrote the ticket wrong. Now I am going to tell you I was impressed by her honesty. People just don’t take the blame when they forget something or just simply mess up. But I digress. She brought the steak out and it was absolutely delicious. I like my steak rare, and this one did not disappoint. 

 

My husband had the Bacon Mushroom Swiss Hamburger and French fries. He said the hamburger tasted like it was one of the ones that come out of a box already premade. He also had to hunt down the mushrooms. He was disappointed in it to say the least. Our friends had the Cedar Planked Tilapia and the other one had Steak Tips Monterey. Both of the enjoyed the meal. Said it was wonderful.

 

The waitress we had was on top of her game. We were not the only table she had, however, she was able to keep out glasses filled, removed our plates in a timely manner, make sure we did not need anything, and get out check to us all with out us having to ask for anything. That is great service.
